Getting To School Safely

Your hosts, Samantha and Robert, take viewers on a field trip to explore the various ways children get to school. We see kids on the school bus, riding their bikes, walking, skateboarding, or getting a ride with parents. First we see the wrong way or the bad habits that kids pick up-pushing and shoving on the bus, not wearing helmets, crossing the street between parked cars, wearing headphones on bikes, etc. With the help of Officer Davis, viewers then see the correct and safe way to get to school. Your students will learn important bus, bike, pedestrian, skateboard and car/driving rules. Throughout the video, the theme of "being responsible" for one's self and one's actions is reinforced.
