Health Mini-Unit Series

Developed by Dr. Ron Borkowicz, recipient of three national awards for teaching including National Teacher of the Year, each mini unit covers three different grade levels ( 5-6, 7-8 and 9-12) and includes lesson plans, true/false and completion tests, answer keys, word searches, crossword puzzles and text overviews. Guide to General Weight Lifting

Which type of weight lifting program is best for you? How to prevent weight lifting injuries? This mini-unit explains the key concepts of strength training exercise and provides recommendations as to exercise frequency, intensity, rest periods and benefits.
