It's So Uncool: Why Taking Drugs Doesn't Work

The latest survey from the Partnership for a Drug-Free America found that drug use among teenagers is leveling off and that an increasing number of teens now believe that drug use is actually “uncool.” This video follows the lives of four different young people from across the country who embody the change in drug abuse attitudes and behavior. Whether it is a young man trying to make it as a singer in the bright lights of a big city, or a young basketball player whose aggressive spirit pushes her to excel, or a quiet young teenager whose passion for flying airplanes has helped him overcome his self doubt, your students are sure to identify with, and be inspired by, these “cool kids.” An equally strong print package will help students translate the experiences viewed on the screen into activities they can begin working on in the classroom and out in the real world.
