Systems of the Body: Muscles and Bones

Through exciting 3-D animation plus live action video, program gives viewers a thorough introduction to the muscular-skeletal system as students see and hear how our 206 bones and 70,000 muscles work together to give us the ability to move and perform complex tasks. Students learn that the skeleton not only provides a frame for our bodies, but it also protects our internal organs and actually makes certain kinds of cells produced in the bone marrow.
