Reviews
Recommended The pace is quick in the introduction of this docu-drama which presents information as to why individuals should have respect for themselves as well as others. In a roundtable setting, Dr. Hal Urban monitors a group of high students in a discussion of respect. Los Angeles major, Antonio Villaraigosa and Jessica Leuders-Dumont, environmental activist, focus on reverence and tolerance for diversity and the environment. One segment is devoted to depicting the work of Push America, an initiative aimed at encouraging increased respect for individuals with disabilities. Don McPherson, former NFL football player, discusses the importance of respect on the football field and in life. He impresses on the listener the need to respect an opponent, not dominate them. A well-structured and technically sound production recommended for junior, senior high and adult audiences.
