Getting Along with the Boss

A young employee’s attitude can be a key factor in successful employment. With wry humor, Getting Along with the Boss introduces viewers to a new superhero—Business Man—whose life mission is to help young employees learn how to get along with their bosses. This wacky superhero reminds viewers that a boss is a human being with good and bad days, and subject to the same job pressures as everyone else. The video reinforces these attributes: being punctual, organized, loyal, responsible, committed, trustworthy, and respectful. This amusing video and accompanying Teacher’s Resource Book are sure to encourage teenagers entering the workplace to examine their attitudes and misconceptions about what a boss is, as well as how to be a useful, effective employee.
